dreams: my escape.

dreams are such an escape from our realities, aren't they?
last night i dreamed i was back in england at capernwray. i could feel God's presence so strongly, i felt the community and support of my friends there. it was the best dream, i miss that so much. i miss the support, the christian atmosphere. i've always been in a bubble. christian school, church, bible school... but now i'm in the real world. public liberal college, work. and i feel my light be sucked out of me, i feel other's hopelessness and it kills me because i want everyone to share in the hope that i have. it kills me to watch people i love make bad choices, and not to accept the truth. to know that people i love will end up in an eternity of hell. oh how i wish i was back in england, i truly miss it so much. and the worst part is that none of it will ever go back to how it was. we're scattered all over the world, and eventually we'll all drift apart. i learned a lot in the past year.. i've made life long friends, i've learned and grown in my relationship with God, i've gotten direction for what i'm supposed to do with my life, i've learned God's plan is the best plan, that not everything is set in stone, that true friends won't use and manipulate you but they'll support you even though you might be making dumb choices (and there is a difference between approving of the choice and supporting the person). the list goes on and on.. i've changed and grown as a person.
i want to go back into my dreams, to have a break from this reality and just dream of being home, home with Jesus.
